BUSINESS AND SOLUTIONS ANALYST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales meetings with sales lead and sales manager to scope out and estimate the opportunity (projects and managed services)
    • Ensure that estimates are accurate and provided in a timely manner
    • Work with the sales lead as a sales engineer to answer technical questions of customers that pertain to platforms, or applications that we have profiled/partnered with
  • Working with Senior consultants to execute end to end consulting projects with the support of the team
  • RFP scoping, estimations and coordination with client RFP teams and external vendors (outsourced teams) to ensure that all details are gathered in time, with accuracy and presented to sales lead and sales manager in a way that is helpful to complete the RFP and put our best foot forward

CUSTOMER SUCCESS/ACCOUNT MANAGER

  • Build and maintain successful client relationships by removing bottlenecks between client and internal marketing team, proactively lead clients through activation points helping clients achieve results fast.
  • Understand where the client is and where they want to be right when they join, then create an implementation pathway that helps them get to and past their initial goals. We are looking for leaders, not order takers, question answer-ers, or glorified support specialists.
  • Be the sole “go to for everything” person for clients.
  • Create as many “buckets” and implementation pathways as needed that would effectively define customer journeys our clients commonly fall into (even if we deliver the same service to several clients, there could be certain activation points that will be different depending on what the client is trying to achieve).
  • Hold clients and internal marketing team accountable for executing that plan on set due dates (challenging them when they deviate from that established plan).

SERVICE DISPATCHER / TECHNICAL MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

This role is a hybrid between being a service dispatcher and a technical lead that specializes in e-commerce. As a service dispatcher, you will be given the authority to assign and unassign tickets, escalate them, and shift around the engineers’ schedules to stay on top of ticket statuses. You will also follow up with clients, other staff members, and vendors as necessary. Your specialized programming knowledge will enable you to sit in between developers and account managers to provide structure to their workflows.

  • Assigning and updating service ticket priority levels based on company standards and client feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with clients, support staff and management to avoid scheduling issues.
  • Tracking and monitoring staff location and availability.

  • Troubleshoot and replicate issues faced by customers in Commerce micro-services
  • Provide immediate workarounds or fix bugs in Commerce micro-services based solutions
  • Support deployment of Commerce micro-services in production environments, identify issues and provide workaround / fixes as needed during deployment/go-live
  • Provide support of the live solution during hyper-care period
  • Provide knowledge transition of the solution implemented to key customer teams
  • Communicate business cases to product management and product development teams regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
  • Automation testing, environment Startup, and data-loading activities.
  • Conduct integration discussions and interface mapping sessions with Customer teams.
  • Leading cross-functional teams of experts to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern cloud strategies, combining technical vision and business insight.
  • Developing various data strategies based on cloud and open-source technology.
  • Work collaboratively with other architects and developers in the team through the execution of the project.
  • Help assist with performance tuning the SaaS environment to handle peak hour load.
  • Offers mentorship and product-level leadership to the broader Customer Success team.
  • Participates in core product discussions to ensure Customer Success is represented, providing input on the roadmap and other cross-functional discussions and initiatives.
  • Interacts directly with internal product teams to develop a strong relationship and a clear understanding of our solutions, cloud offerings, and support processes.
  • Support architecture and designing of application delivery automation and implementing tools/platforms to support rapid delivery via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
  • Travel to various, unanticipated client sites throughout Canada.
 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field followed by 8 years of progressive experience with implementation of an Order Management System, including retail, eCommerce, and omni-channel order management, developing and implementing software using Java, JSON, REST Services, SQL, JMS, XML, XSD, Oracle or DB2 database technology, and SOAP Webservices
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree followed by 8 years of progressive experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 5 years of experience in the skill sets stated above.
